The the snow kept starting and stopping, but it was cold. I'd guess it was in the high 20's or low 30's (F). Within a couple of miles of leaving Jasper I noticed the big Elk on the side of the road and turned around to get a few pictures. He didn't seem to mind me snapping his picture until a tour bus stopped and scared him off.
